This former window is part of a 12-decade-old building. Stearns Hall served as a community center for the scattered homesteaders in west-central Montana; the building is now on the National Historic Register. The morning sun highlights the wood grain behind the broken pane.

I am a visual artist (Kae C's Images) at work a few miles east of the Continental Divide in Montana USA, who produces photographic images, graphic arts, and computer art. I started with SLRs, but since 2002 have embraced the digital era. My photos have been used in many publications, including American Cowboy, Bloodlines, Orion Magazine, Pro Rodeo World (along with my articles), and Royal Wings (an international in-flight magazine). Digital painting and graphic art techniques developed when working with authors to create covers for their books. I apply these skills to many of my images.
