Description

This lynx portrait is another in my Digital Sculptures collection, and a variation of the first Digital Lynx. I started with an oval of colors in a random pattern, then I pushed at it and moved the edges and interior until I had the 2D digital sculpture of this wild cat. I tweaked the designed subject with various computer-art software, then I layered it against the contrasting background. The picture I referenced for anatomical accuracy is one I took more than a decade ago (on film).
The lynx are cautious and not often seen except in the Montana back country.
