Artist's Description
Remnant mining structures at the World Museum of Mining (Butte, Montana, USA), which was built on the site of the Orphan Girl Mine (OGM). The structures and remnant equipment and machinery are original to the OGM from the turn of the 20th century. The area is called Hell Roarin' Gulch, with more than 50 structures on 22 acres of land.
Taken on a hot day, I added some digital enhancement to dull the bright light and to increase the sense of age.

The bulk of my PHOTOGRAPHY deals with rural enterprise and activities. If you are interested in those subjects (with a western flair) please visit my...
