The mound in the foreground is all lava, and it sets in the Missouri River in Montana...leftover from geologic happenings of long ago. A misty rain was falling as I took this, hence the softness on the hills and trees. The precipitation quickly became more robust, preventing me from taking more pics. I'll have to go back when the weather is better.

I am a visual artist (Kae C's Images) at work a few miles east of the Continental Divide in Montana USA, who produces photographic images, graphic arts, and computer art. I started with SLRs, but since 2002 have embraced the digital era.
