Shot using a film camera. I like the nearly BW look of this, although I was using color film. Springtime in the USA,Chihuahua Mountains. To get a decent angle on the shot, I climbed on top of my station wagon with my tripod (my dog, inside the car, was a bit alarmed). And doing so, the perspective was more straight on than if I'd been on the ground, six feet lower.

I am a visual artist (Kae C's Images) at work a few miles east of the Continental Divide in Montana USA, who produces photographic images, graphic arts, and computer art. I started with SLRs, but since 2002 have embraced the digital era. My photos have been used in many publications, including American Cowboy, Bloodlines, Orion Magazine, Pro Rodeo World (along with my articles), and Royal Wings (an international in-flight magazine). Digital painting and graphic art techniques developed when working with authors to create covers for their books. I apply these skills to many of my images.
