Jigsaw Puzzle
While driving a country road, I was taken with this uprooted tree. Blown over in a recent storm, all the roots are now exposed--a tangle of textured wood. Embedded among this abstract formation are various rocks and detritus that had been caught in the ground with the roots. The tree was in a fenced pasture, impeding me from getting close and seeing the tree on the ground. I took closeup images, too, and they have fed my imagination for abstract photos and for other art work.
