Artist's Description

I wrote this haiku several years ago, and have now completed a digital painting to put with it.
Haiku is an unrhymed verse form of Japanese origin, consisting of three lines: five syllables, seven syllables, five syllables, respectively. The subject matter usually involves nature.
I find myself writing haiku and other poetry when I'm thinking about writing a piece of fiction. The forms turns my mind on words, composition and the meanings. By combining the poetry with my art work, I find even more focus. Maybe another novel sometime soon!!

The bulk of my PHOTOGRAPHY deals with rural enterprise and activities. If you are interested in those subjects (with a western flair) please visit my...
