Chopsticks? Yes, that's where the main lines and color come from in this photographic abstraction. I took seven chopsticks--two different patterns--and laid them out side-by-side, then did a macro shot of the center section of the lay out. After that, the abstraction came from working with various textures and elements in one of my art programs.
