Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. These stacked metal pallets are at a winery, no doubt for handling, storing, or moving large units of wine bottles. I liked the geometry and rusted elements, but I like it even better in the "Stacked Metal Pallets 2" that I digitally augmented.
