Description
Two contented black-ringed-billed gulls share a perch on the top pole rail fence. Most Ring-billed Gulls nest in the interior of the continent, near freshwater.These two were quite near the Missouri River, in western Montana. Their black wingtips are spotted with white. They have yellow legs and a yellow bill with a black band encircling the yellow bill this feature distinguishes adults.
