Description
Hay Stack Butte is a prominent geological feature in Montana, it marks the edge of the southeastern Rocky Mountain Front Conservation Area. It seems to tower over this ranch land where cattle graze, and I liked how the cattle, getting smaller and smaller on the vast grassland, set the perspective for Hay Stack, which is 25 miles away and nearly 7000 feet at its peak. The cloudy sky emphasizes the shape of the butte.
