This stalk of flowerets from a bouquet was bowed down with the heavy load. I put it in a vase alone to show the beauty of the bending branch. I liked the tiny flowers and the array of slender stems and leaf parts. The faded minimalist composition shows off the form more than if more colors were present.

I am a visual artist (Kae C's Images) at work a few miles east of the Continental Divide in Montana USA, who produces photographic images, graphic arts, and computer art. I started with SLRs, but since 2002 have embraced the digital era. My photos have been used in many publications, including American Cowboy, Bloodlines, Orion Magazine, Pro Rodeo World (along with my articles), and Royal Wings (an international in-flight magazine). Digital painting and graphic art techniques developed when working with authors to create covers for their books. I apply these skills to many of my images.
