Artist's Description
This is the wheel of a 1914 standard size farm wagon with double box, built by the Peter Schuttler Wagon Company, Chicago, although I took this picture in Montana. These wagons would have been used for what a light truck is used today: hauling bags of grain, firewood, and other supplies. This wheel shows great workmanship that is still sturdy after 100 years.
