Artist's Description
Three vintage copper utensils, handcrafted remnants from earlier days. They each have handles more than a foot long for reaching over an open fire and stirring deep kettles and pots. Signs of wear show on the spatula and the circular strainer; The fork tines retain the luster of the metal that can be ornamental when displayed in a ktchen. However, uncoated cookware is dangerous because the copper molecules can leach into food during the cooking process. I don't know if these utensils, found at an antique store, are coated. Won't use for cooking. But I like the craftsmanship.
