This tree has survived many years in the rocky edge of the Montana Missouri River. I like the shape of the trunk and the pattern of the river waves. To get the distant shoreline in the picture, I sat down on the sloping path that leads to the water.

I am a visual artist (Kae C's Images) at work a few miles east of the Continental Divide in Montana USA, who produces photographic images, graphic arts, and computer art. I started with SLRs, but since 2002 have embraced the digital era.
