Artist's Description
It is almost butterfly time in my part of the country. A few are flitting by, but the end of June will see a lot more. This painting is in anticipation of the delightful time and was inspired by some Japanese woodcut prints I recently saw. Those were monotone, but I added color. All are non-representative of actual fluttery insects.
This is a digital painting using only virtual brushes with traditional painting techniques.
