Gorgeous photo of the Northern Pintails in flight, Kae. L/F We were at Freezeout Lake back in June 2004. Wonderful place for bird watching and photography. I remember seeing lots of Yellow-headed Blackbirds and Red-winged Blackbirds.

Thanks Ram, for your comment. Freezeout is a wonderful wildlife area. March is when the snow geese come through by the thousands. I saw many on this trip, but they were all in the air, travelling to the surrounding fields to feed.
