Before air pods and CD players, was the cassette tape player. An audio device that could fit in the palm of your hand. The retro item in this image was also a recorder. The cassette was the essential item for storing music, buying "albums," taping lectures or concerts. Powered by batteries; now fading into the vintage sunset.
