Artist's Description
Although I've given this vintage toning, I took the picture in 2020 when a 24' teepee was raised. I like this group working together to hoist up the single pole with the attached teepee canvas. My friend is the artist who hand painted the entire canvas cover--with 60 lbs of paint. I have an album on my facebook page that shows the various steps of raising a teepee. Check it out!

About Kae Cheatham
I am a visual artist (Kae C's Images) at work a few miles east of the Continental Divide in Montana USA, who produces photographic images, graphic arts, and computer art. Digital painting and graphic art techniques developed when working with authors to create covers for their books. I apply these skills to many of my images. The bulk of my PHOTOGRAPHY deals with rural enterprise and activities. If you are interested in those subjects (with a western flair) please visit my...
