Description
I have always liked the eyes of a puma, and emphasized them in this photo painting.
**** ****
The Puma is also know as a cougar, mountain lion, and panther. It is a highly adaptable American wildcat and lives in habitats ranging from snow-covered mountains to tropical rain forests. Found throughout North and South America, it exists over a wider range than any other mammal in the western hemisphere, except for humans. A remarkable animal, the puma can easily cover more than 20 feet in a single bound, and can leap upwards to a height of 18 feet to land in branches of trees or on rocky knolls. It can drop 65 feet to the ground without injuring itself. Pumas have an average lifespan of 18 years.

You've perfectly captured the intense stare of the mountain lion and this image. I've seen quite a few in the wild and it is something you never forget.

Thanks, Harriet, for your comment. Yes, the eyes have it with these lovely creatures!
