Description
I took the original image at the lot of a tire company where the old car wheels were haphazardly strewn in a refuse area. The colors and shape repetition intrigued me. The colors here are the real deal. I enhanced the rust to give textural interest, then "sculpted" the edges of the image and set it on a larger background.

My original is printed on 1/8 inch plyboard using industrial inks. I banded the plyboard edges with 1/4" chrome car trim. The texture is terrific. I'm sure this print will look smashing on canvas, which also adds texture. This is a print that looks best large. Small editions are not available.

Very well seen, Kae. And I would love to see your framed original. Sounds not only creative and unusual but most effective and attractive. Visiting from Everything Manufactured.
