This abandoned structure was built in the early 1900s in remote hills of Montana. The nearby pond made it a nice setting, but the times were against the homesteaders. The dilapidated log house is holding its own against the elements after 110 years of being empty. Some of the logs are more than 15" wide. The tree that was probably a seedling when the house was built, has grown up against the back wall, hastening the deterioration.
