Artist's Description

Dramatic geological skyscrapers in the Big Belt Mountains of Montana USA. Taken from the road to Hogback Mountain. Towering nearly 7000ft, the wisp clouds in the blue sky make the pinnacles and peaks stand out. I liked the way of sandstone rock that, over time, has accumulated enough talus and natural soil to allow trees to grow. The green make s nice break in the rugged mountain range. My DSLR with 28mm lens was unable to get the dramatic width of the scene, so I used my smart phone - MOTO Edge 5G

Digital painting and graphic art techniques developed when working with authors to create covers for their books. I apply these skills to many of my images. The bulk of my PHOTOGRAPHY deals with rural enterprise and activities. If you are interested in those subjects (with a western flair) please visit my...
