Artist's Description
Montana USA highway 434 in a light snowstorm. The asphalt roadway seems to disappear into the winter haze. This road is very lightly travelled and I didn't have to pull to the shoulder for this picture. I took it through my truck windshield, and that allowed me to get more depth in the image than if I had braved the cold snow and stood on the highway.

Digital painting and graphic art techniques developed when working with authors to create covers for their books. I apply these skills to many of my images. The bulk of my PHOTOGRAPHY deals with rural enterprise and activities. If you are interested in those subjects (with a western flair) please visit my...
