This digital art is created without a drawing or trace, it is not actually painted. For the subject, I started with a rectangle filled with colors I liked. I then pushed and pulled on the rectangle to get the bison shape, similar as to what would be done with clay to get a shape. That's why I call this a digital sculpture. All the pushing and pulling made the colors move, and I utilized the movement go give definition to the buffalo form. Once the subject was complete, I adjusted colors and added an abstract background. This is a variation of Digital Bison #6, where I employed an abstract overlay which altered some colors of the subject. I have several other Montana animals in my 2d Digital Sculptures collection.
