This German Wirehaired Pointer was standing with its owner along a wooden fence at the Draft Horse show; dogs weren't allowed in the grandstand area, so they watched from afar.
The German Wirehaired Pointer is a hunting dog, and reported to be an excellent family dog. I really like the alert expression and had to take a portrait shot (with the owners permission)!
