Description
Modern American Indian powwows are often a social gathering usually including competitive dancing. Even so, the essentials haven't changed much in many decades from when the event was an important ceremony. Here, the Grand Entry, with flags of the nations displayed, always opens the activities to the regal beat of a drum. The drums are vital parts of a powwow, with 10 or more at major events. The drummers/singers rotate their abilities for the various parts of the powwow. Babes in arms are lulled to sleep by the sound and rhythm; hardly ever a crying baby or child at a powwow: they know. Drums are the beat of the earth and extension of the heart.
This montage blends the Grand Entry onto the important drum. Vibration shows in the the texture I've given to the surrounding of the main subjects.
