Great subdued palette. Don't see many DeSotos anymore. You captured a good one!

Great piece for the classic car buff!

Kae Cheatham replied:

Thanks for the comment, Karen. I often wonder how long these relics have been sitting there; this one must have been for many years.

Cool image. I have the Nikon 85mm 1.4 but I have never used it except for portraits. I generally carry my zooms (14-24, 24-70, and 70-200) for my landscape and travel work.

Kae Cheatham replied:

Thanks for visiting, George. I would have liked the 1.4, but when I was buying, it was out of my price range. I don't shoot portrait, and landscapes only by accident. :-) My subjects: Spent today on a ranch where 300 calves were branded.

I started with SLRs, but since 2002 have embraced the digital era. My photos have been used in many publications, including American Cowboy, Bloodlines, Orion Magazine, Pro Rodeo World (along with my articles), and Royal Wings (an international in-flight magazine). Digital painting and graphic art techniques developed when working with authors to create covers for their books. I apply these skills to many of my images. The bulk of my PHOTOGRAPHY deals with rural enterprise and activities. If you are interested in those subjects (with a western flair) please visit my...
