Artist's Description

I watch a lot of horse events on TV and one of my favorites is the cross-country leg of the three-day eventing competitions. This is my paint-roller art of a horse and rider on course, hurtling one fence and headed for the water obstacle. Paint roller art can be demanding because the "brush" doesn't always maintain a firm line. I like the challenge, and the naif presentation of the final image.

The idea of speed doesn't bothered me, but the steeplechase aspects....NOT. I enjoy w...

About Kae Cheatham

I am a visual artist (Kae C's Images) at work a few miles east of the Continental Divide in Montana USA, who produces photographic images, graphic arts, and computer art. Digital painting and graphic art techniques developed when working with authors to create covers for their books. I apply these skills to many of my images. The bulk of my PHOTOGRAPHY deals with rural enterprise and activities. If you are interested in those subjects (with a western flair) please visit my...
