Description
A rider in a mounted shooting competition makes a crack shot, bursting a green balloon, while her horse dashes along at 25 (or so) mph. The course, in a western Montana fairground, was set in an oval with 10 balloons on poles. In this image, I like how some of the smoke from the target pistol frames the horse's eye. A well-trained horse is as essntial to this sport as the mounted rider being a crack shot.

Wow!!! To be able to shoot or ride is an accomplishment..to do both with accuracy is truly something. Great action shot. The horse has that well trained determination look on its face. Love it!
