While hiking, I stepped across a small stream and noticed this rock--highlighted nicely by the dapples sunlight through tree leaves. The water was so clear, the stream bed was evident. And the rock , with its different seams of geological color, seemed to mimic the head of some prehistoric creature. Well, I couldn't just keep walking, could I? :)

I am a visual artist (Kae C's Images) at work a few miles east of the Continental Divide in Montana USA, who produces photographic images, graphic arts, and computer art.
