Description
This is a composite of several images I took in Yellowstone National Park, digitally enhanced to reflect a large grouping of animals. When bison browse for grass under the snow, they push their faces into the snow and swing their heads back and forth, clearing space to the ground so they can eat. You can see the cow in the middle has a ring of snow around her nose. BTW, All adult bison have horns.

And still do roam in several western tate reserves. Yellowstone NP has the largest wild herds. Thanks for your comment.
