Description
Driving along a quiet ranch road near Canyon Creek, Montana, I saw this and thought, Ah, old wire roll; but a closer look and I thought is was twisted grasses. A bit of both, actually. the old wire is rusted and has accumulated gravel, dried grass and more in its twist that probably occurred when the plows came through and piled winter snows off the road. An interesting contrast to the straight strands of newer wire.
